Evie nodded and started to walk to the other side of the park, she considered running ahead but quickly decided against it and just smiled a bit. She looked over at Johnny, “how much do you wanna bet there’s nothin really different about this side of the park.”
“Yeah. It’s probably just the same thing. Buts yet it’s different. Since we’ve never been over there.” Johnny squeezed Evie hand a little as the approached the two little kids. “hold on for a second, I want to tell that little girl something.” Johnny slowly released Evies hand as he walked over the the little girl. He knelt down to her eye level. “Thanks for telling me to take her in a date. I think she’s having a good time.” Johnny took both we tiny hands in his and moved them back and firth a little. He smiled at the girl and walked back to Evie. He grabbed her hand again and and continued walking.
Evie watched as Johnny walked to the little girl, she started to smile when he knelt down and spoke to her. She was too far away to hear but close enough to see the little girl nod her head. Evie smiled as Johnny vame back to her and took her hand in his; she swung their hands back and forth. Evie used her other hand to move the hair that fell infront of her face, out of the way.
Johnny smiled as they started walking. “I really do love you.” he said as he turned her head, looking into he eyes. He kissed her there, for everyone to see. He didn’t care. They started walking again. Johnny slowly dropped her hand, and put his hand around her waist. He pulled her closer to him and kept walking. They found a playground that no one was on. No one was even around.
Evie smiled when he kissed her, “I really do love you too.” Evie heard a few kids say ew but she didn’t care. As they approached the playground Evie got a bit excited, at heart she was still a child, she just physically grew up a lot faster. She looked at Johnny and smiled brightly, pointing over to the playground, “loooook, abandoned playground, how scary.” she stated and grinned.
Johnny smiled at Evie. “You’re such a kid!” he said. He kissed her cheek and ran towards the playground. He got on It and laid down on a straight-way bridge. “I miss playgrounds.” he said.
“You’re just realizing this now?” Evie ran up the slide, she smiled and looked around, “I miss being a kid, thank god I haven’t changed in here.” Evie put a hand on her heart and began smiling. She walked around the playground and found the pole that escaped the height of the structure. She remembered pretending she was a fireman; she would always bash her knee off of the pole though, for that she never loved it.
Johnny laughed at Evie. “I’ve always known, I’m just stating.” He stood up and walked over to Evie. “I always loved these poles.” Johnny slid down in spinning like a fire man. He let got if the pole and dropped to the ground and landed in his feet. He sat on the stairs and watched Evie play.
